Our family has raised horses and sheep in the mountains near the Kolsai lakes for generations. Life here follows the seasons, and Nauryz is the day the whole village comes together.

In Saty, Nauryz is when the snow starts to melt and the whole village visits each other. Ainur's mother makes nauryz kozhe the way her own grandmother did, with seven ingredients and a lot of patience. You'll stay in our guest house, help in the kitchen and see the horse games in the village square.

Nauryz marks the spring equinox and the start of the new year. It is a celebration of renewal, generosity and open hospitality, when doors are open and no guest leaves hungry.
